Yes. CallSteer works with any softphone or browser-based dialer — Dialpad, RingCentral, Five9, Aircall, Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, and more. The desktop widget captures audio from any application, and the Chrome extension works with browser-based calls.
Is it only for sales teams?
No. CallSteer has three dedicated modules: Sales (objection handling and close coaching), Customer Service (de-escalation and policy surfacing), and Tech Support (guided troubleshooting and KB resolution). Each module has its own AI behavior tuned to the job.
How is this different from call recording or post-call analytics?
Most tools analyze calls after they end. CallSteer coaches during the call — responses appear on screen in real time while the conversation is still happening. Your reps get help when it matters, not hours later in a dashboard.
What does onboarding look like?

Is call audio stored or recorded?
No. CallSteer processes audio in real time and discards it immediately. No recordings are stored. The only data saved is the text transcript and the coaching suggestion — never raw audio.
